Carl’s Jr is a California based premium burger chain brand. Carl’s Jr. has been a pioneer in the quick service restaurants (QSR) industry for over 75 years. The burger chain originated out of a humble hot-dog cart in 1941 but now has, together with its sister brand Hardee’s (also a global QSR burger chain), over 3660 licensed and company owned restaurants across 37 countries.
Now the brand is about to launch all new mutton burgers in four variants Korma, mint, awesome onion and famous star. I sampled all four of them and this how they fared.
Awesome Onion – Without a doubt the best out of the lot. Crispy onions as well the sauce made all the difference.
Mint – The burger with tangy and fresh element to it. The mint sauce so generously included within the buns tasted absolutely fantastic.
Korma – As the name suggests, this one is totally for the Indian palate. Indian spices being the key.
Famous Star – This one includes a lot of mayo and might be liked by people having milder palate.
Out of all the flavours I liked Awesome Onion the best, closely followed by Mint. The mutton patty in all the four burgers were soft and juicy. So guys do try out the variants as soon as they are launched in the Carl’s Jr outlet which would most probably be on first week of January 2017.
